How do I get started at CrossFit Resurgence?

How long is a typical class?
Classes generally last 60 minutes and include a warm-up, skill or strength work, the workout of the day (WOD), and a cool-down.
Is CrossFit safe?
We take great pride in our excellent coaching, as that is what promotes sustainable progress and improvement. With our hands-on coaching, we modify workouts to your abilities and comfort level.
Do you offer options for busy professionals?
Absolutely. We design flexible classes and personal training times to fit busy schedules and help working adults stay on track.
Are there programs for people over 50?
Yes, many of our members are ages 50+ and our coaches scale every workout for their specific needs. All ages are welcome.
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing and training shoes. Bring a water bottle and small towel—weightlifting shoes are optional.
Can I train if I have an injury or health condition?
In most cases, yes. Always consult your doctor first, and tell your coach about any limitations so we can modify movements as needed.
Is there a community aspect to your gym?
Yes! We pride ourselves on being a supportive gym community in Falls Church, where everyone feels they belong. We host many community events outside of the gym, but every day you come to work out is an opportunity to work out with your friends!
Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?
No! Not at all. We feel this is the biggest misconception. We want you to come as you are! CrossFit is designed to be scalable for every fitness level, and our coaches modify workouts so everyone can participate safely.
